Helping Employers Solve Their People Problems

Andrea is an employment and labor lawyer with more than 30 years of corporate counsel and private practice experience. She has served as a member of the senior management team and advisor to senior management of Fortune 100 companies. She represents management in a wide variety of employment law, labor law, and human resources matters, where she focuses on preventive law and legal compliance.

Andrea’s advice to her clients is informed by her 18 years of experience handling employment law matters in-house. She understands the business concerns of her clients and the challenges employers face. Andrea offers her clients practical legal counsel, informed by her own in-house legal experience, to effectively and efficiently handle all types of employment law issues.

In private practice for over 20 years, Andrea has extensive experience counseling the management of for-profit and nonprofit organizations of all sizes on diverse employee-related issues, including:

  • discrimination law

  • employee relations

  • sexual harassment

  • termination planning

  • human resources management

  • labor relations

Andrea represents employers in employment discrimination proceedings before administrative agencies and in employment arbitrations, labor arbitrations, and other dispute resolution proceedings. Andrea’s practice includes federal, state, and local regulatory compliance matters, such as Title VII, ADEA, ADA, FMLA, FLSA, and unemployment compensation. Andrea has hands-on experience developing and implementing employment policies and procedures.

Andrea has always maintained a focus on preventive law. She knows first-hand that preventing problems is the best way for organizations to run their operations. Although it is difficult to measure the cost savings of a lawsuit avoided, or the cost benefits of good employee morale, preventive law remains a best practice for all organizations.

Andrea counsels clients to address small problems before they become big. As part of that, Andrea develops and implements:
